What file types and audio formats do you accept for vinyl and what is best?

One off and short run lathe cut vinyl (1-30 copies)

  • High quality WAV files will be best.
  • Other accepted formats: .mp3, .aiff, .m4a, .wav, .flac

 

DO NOT RENAME FILE TO MP3, this does not convert it. If your songs are not in one of those formats use an actual converter. Here is a free online converter: https://online-audio-converter.com/

**NOTE: if this converter creates audio issues and you submit those audio files with these audio defects we cannot accept responsibility.

 

Record pressing (100+ records)

  • Digital master specifications – WAV, AIFF, 16, 24, 32 Bit, 44.1K, 48K. 96K, and 192K.
  • Order your songs with the loudest songs at the beginning and softest towards the end of each side. This is strongly suggested even if your order on CD is different than your vinyl release.
  • Make sure to fill out our cutting form and provide a PQ sheet where track breaks should go
  • Have us prepare your audio for you using our Vinyl Mastering service
